From the road: When truckers get jiggy with it

what I’m driving

You know what’s happy-making (on the road)?

When you flash your brights to let a trucker in your lane — and he winks at you with his running lights in gratitude.

You’ve done a good thing, it makes the road safer for all, and you get to enjoy his display of flicking lights as a thank you.

Today I laughed out loud (lol) when a semi hauling an oversized potato twinked his lights with crazydelight after I let him in on a crowded roadway.

(The potato was maybe 10,000 times the size of a regular potato. Huge. It was a driving advertisement for Idaho potatoes. The fake monster potato was so monstrous it had to be chained down. Gasp.)

For you
