It already exists

Gregg Braden makes a powerful point in The Turning Point: Creating Resilience in a Time of Extremes. The technology already exists to solve much of our problems.

Braden likens today to that point in 1961 when President Kennedy made it a national mandate to send a man safely to the moon and back — within a decade.

As Braden notes, most of the technology already existed to accomplish this mission. But it wasn’t till a visionary leader launched us on that path that the resources of a nation came together. To integrate and improve existing technology, to make that vision real.

Braden’s point: It is the same today with world poverty and sustainability.

The means are here. We only need the will. The vision and the commitment.

I suggest it is the same for you and me in our personal lives.

We activate the means by our dedication. We have resources beyond comprehension. We receive them by moving forward. In the direction of that dream that at first we only whisper to ourself.

For you
