Living at the speed of laughter

#NotesForCreators on G+

I’m always trying to calibrate the speed at which I live.

You know, when do I work at the gallery, when do I break from work, when do I frolic, when do I do creative, when do I cohabitate with the family and the dogs . . .

The best answer I’ve discovered is to live at the speed of laughter.

A well-paced life spurs laughter — even when handling expensive artwork for a client.

Everything flows easier when lubricated by camaraderie. Especially with a client. Especially with our gallery crew. Especially with the delivery guy. Especially with my kid. Most especially with my lover woman wife.

When you’re going too fast for laughter, you’re going too damn fast.
