When I was in the design world this idea was pervasive:
Less is more
Meaning, less clutter in design has greater impact
More can be less too
More patience is less harried
More joy, less anger
More quiet, less stress
More in the moment, less reactionary
More nature, less world in your brain and more world in your experience
By enhancing that worthy of more, the unworthy lessens
