Spiritual is sexy

A common image meme in today’s media is a woman in a yoga pose. 

You see it everywhere, from social media to advertising. I for one am thankful. When you live in the land of the yoga pants there can never be too much of a good thing.

This yoga woman, she’s youthful regardless of age. She’s fit. She’s flexible. There’s a lovely quality to her. She’s sensuous.

She also owns her realm. She’s capable and connected. She’s not a girl at a bar downing shots. 

Some think this beautiful body/yoga thing has been taken too far. That it cheapens yoga. That it takes away from the seriousness of the discipline.

Not me. To me it’s heartening. 

When spiritual becomes sexy the culture is evolving.
