The way of no guru

Gandhi wished to find a guru — but thankfully never had the time. Gurus tend to espouse a rigorous inward journey, especially in India at that time. That Gandhian drive focused into inner peace alone, rather than toward social justice, would have left the world poorer.

So maybe it is better, even if you flail about for years, to craft your own way. The way of the guru is at her feet. Your way is on your feet, in the world, feeling your way forward.
